The gabion is a mesh cage made of the angular wire mesh (hexagonal wire mesh), which is weaved by the metallic fibre material, the wire size of the used metal varies according to the size of the hexagon. The wire for the edge of outer border uses one type thicker wire than the hexagonal wire. Basket type gabion is formed by the coupling of hexagonal mesh of large specification, in the construction, if only put the stone into the gabion and then seal it.
